Armenia, as other FSU and Eastern European countries has made significant progress in transition from the planned to market economy. While other sectors of the Armenian economy moved forward towards full commercialization, infrastructure sectors of Armenia lagged well behind other sectors of the economy, at the same time still remaining state-owned. Since sound and commercially viable infrastructure sectors are one of the major preconditions for the sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction, infrastructure rehabilitation and further development has become one of the main priorities for Armenia. Consequently, more and more attention of both the Government and International Financial Institutions is being focused towards basic public utilities and infrastructure development during the recent years. Development efforts are aimed at development of relevant legal framework and law enforcement procedures, institutional reforms supporting privatization and encouraging private sector participation, meanwhile, reserving the Government with regulatory and policy-making functions in these areas.

Thus, we see our role in contributing to the overall objective of rehabilitating and developing basic infrastructure of Armenia through providing quality services to our clients.
